A Classical Christian Curriculum built on the foundation of God's Word and written by well-known, seasoned classical educators and leaders.
The Rafiki Classical Christian Curriculum is a full-orbed, liberal arts educational system. From PreK-6th grade, our curriculum integrates key academic subjects, focusing on the great books of Western civilization viewed through the lens of chronological history
and built on the foundation of God's Word.
and built on the foundation of God's Word.
We began writing the Rafiki Classical Christian Curriculum over 18 years ago for Rafiki schools in Africa. Our vision was to educate our students as image bearers of God, fostering their minds and affections to consider what is true, good, and beautiful.
To accomplish this, we partnered with highly trained and devoted classical educators and scholars to craft a robust curriculum which equips students to be godly contributors
who help their society flourish.
Rafiki School Curriculum—Biblical. Classical. Missional. Accessible. Affordable.
A word of explanation:
First, Rafiki School Curriculum was written first and foremost for Rafiki Village and Church partner schools on the continent of Africa. Names, places, and stories used to teach universal truths are decidedly African by design. However, these can easily be replaced by either homeschool parents or classroom teachers with those more culturally relevant to specific students. The quality and content remain the same.
Second, Rafiki School Curriculum was initially written to be given away to African church partners rather than prepared to sell in the US market. We are currently in the process of updating, improving, and streamlining the text appearance and content organization.
Third, Rafiki School curriculum was written expressly for a classroom size up to 20 students. We believe it can be easily adapted to a homeschool setting with a selective eye to the student objectives activities provided within the lesson.
Purchasing the curriculum for yourself helps fund the education of our students in Africa!
